I write about whatever’s on my mind, sometimes technical, sometimes not.
Most of my time goes on work I don’t write about much here, and most of my spare time goes on the opposite: riding motorbikes, self-hosting more than is strictly sensible, and building small tools to fix problems only I seem to have.
This blog is where the tinkering ends up. Expect privacy, automation, the odd bit of hardware, and the occasional post that’s just me thinking out loud. If you want the tools themselves, the code lives on the tools page and the hosted apps are all on one page at apps.dmcc.io.
A few posts that say more about how I think than any bio would: a privacy reboot, a note on keeping some balance, and one on holding onto focus.
